Hello Single Ladies

There's a point in life that living in SINGLEVILLE in Singledom,becomes weary. Worse still when you are a woman. Unfortunately in a high-tech,progressive society,we are still patriarchal,so a woman's fate for that-ring-on-it is still very much in the man's hands.And the pressures society places on a woman, no matter how educated,or financially independant,to wed,on top of personal pressures of biological clocks,fear of being lonely, amongst other things.As if a woman can step up to a man she wants,or who qualifies,and say,'hey you,marry me!',(boy would i have been basking in wedded bliss.)This issue of finding,or per say,choosing a partner is quite challenging.So I will go through the different types of potential candidates.

Man number 1.The Widower: A man unexpectedly thrown into singledom due to unfortunate circumstances. He will probably need someone to look after the children, and the comfort of a partner. Usually, kind and sincere,but my question always is, 'how did your late wife die?" In addition you need to understand the circumstances around the passing of his wife. And make sure that you do a thorough background check. the worst thing that you could ever want to be, is part of Blue Beard's secret gallery. In short, make sure that he didn't off his wife.

Some stories are best watched as they play out... Ever watched a movie or TV series and relate to a character? How many parts of the plot line would you have loved to be part of your life? Filmmakers have managed to tap into our subconscious to draw emotions towards their films. There are certain characters that have become memorable with fans. We often quote them, use film analogies to explain real life and even play out the plot ourselves. Relating film to real life has become a common feature on this blog. MTV VMA Review: Missy Elliott, Supa Dupa Fly!

Yaaaas queen! Joy overwhelmed me by just watching Missy Elliott's MTV VMA performance. It's been 16 years since Missy last performed at the VMAs. That year, Missy was joined by Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, as they proved to us what genius looks like. Missy opened her performance with her latest single, "Throw It Back" before throwing fans back to her hits from yesteryear. She performed a medley that included 'The Rain', 'Get Ur Freak On', 'One Minute Man', 'Pass that Dutch' and 'Lose Control'. With each performance the 4-time Grammy winner invoked looks from each music video. She also reunited with dancer, actress and singer, Alyson Stoner, who remains a superb dancer. For those who aren't in the know, Alyson started dancing for Missy when she was a little girl. She became a staple in most of Missy's music videos. The Slow Burn

Stop trying to control everything and start experiencing the slow burn. Hello, single ladies! Comment ça va mes amies? "Je suis bien! Gather around; today we are having coffee and tea.
