Yea, yea, lack of originality, I know, what is up with the song titles. I can't help it. I'm in love!

Music is my Muse. Actually, it is my first love; my true love; love of my life; I bleed love,(oops, there she goes again);and my everything. Music is my life!

So I guess, I draw a lot of my writing inspiration from songs, and for my life there are so many soundtracks. Right now, I'm in between Coyote Ugly and Burlesque soundtracks.

But music is like that. It has so much power over our lives, and I believe it is the best gift that God ever placed on this earth.

Music has brought us Michael Jackson who bridged the racial gap; empowerment,(born this way);inspiration,(the greatest love of all);affect change,(what's going on);bring nations together,(waka waka) and made us dance,(living la vida loca).

Music is the friend when you are alone, that connection to the divine, breakfast, puts you to bed, gets you dancing like its the end of the world, and of course, the love note.

Yes, I love poetry, chocolates, les fleurs, bling ,and even a phone call, but the thing that really reaches the depths of my soul is Music. 'Say it, show it, prove it....' ,put it in a song, to woo me, talk to me, make peace with me, make me dance, inspire me....yes, a song.

I am probably a combination of a jukebox and iTunes. And you can tell a person's personality from their taste in music. I am kind of a 'music schizophrenic', but it only shows that I am a well balanced individual, and of course I have a great taste in music.*wink*

Let us all have a beautiful love affair with the one thing that hits you hard, but it wont hurt. It gives you a feeling....that you never felt before.

Just Another Monday!

Looking at my nails and how I’ve made a meal out of them… I need a break! The past three weeks have been extremely exhausting to say the least. I decided to come to this platform to somewhat, somehow distress. Writing is often cathartic even to an absent audience. I’m just tired! Sections of my skin are eczematous and I even suffered a breakdown last week. God, I wish it were hormones but it’s just being overwhelmed. I am tired – physically, financially, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I have nothing to give. That empty jar that cannot pour out anymore. I’m sometimes emotionally numb…. How I Met Your Father

Always write your own love story... So here I am painting my story on a canvas. Today I decided to do something slightly different. While I binge-watched the entire first season of "How I Met Your Father," something dawned on me. As a fan of the original "How I Met Your Mother," I was curious if the spin-off would match up. The series stars Hilary Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Suraj Sharma, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Kim Cattrall. Cattrall plays the 2050 version of the protagonist and narrator, Sophie. She recounts to her unseen son the events that followed meeting his father in January 2022 and how they ultimately had him. Fans are shown Sophie, played by Hillary Duff, and her group of friends in New York City's Manhattan. The 10-episode series shows how these 20- and 30-somethings maneuver through their disastrous dating lives, assumedly post-pandemic. Better The Devil You Know...

No intentions are still intentions and usually cruel intentions! 'Little Miss Muffet, sat on a tuffet, eating her curds and whey.Along came a big spider,who sat beside her, and frightened poor Miss Muffet away.' For those who are tracking with my MPVs, you are acquainted with the infamous Mr. X, (the one who epitomises Taylor Swift's 'Trouble').
